Developed at Woods Bagot
Completed in 2017 the Adelaide Convention Center East Building in Adelaide Australia designed by Woods Bagot was inspired by the regional weathered monolithic rocks. To manifest this inspiration, the cladding of the convention center consists of a series of facets with smoothed edges wrapped in continuous metal paneling. I had the privilege to work with the Adelaide team on the development of the distribution pattern and the necessary geometric refinement, which can be seen in the finished building.
