Developed at Woods Bagot
The Handan Vases is a proposal for a mixed-use development China developed in 2011 at Woods Bagot. The design focuses on a series of residential towers, oriented to maximize natural indirect daylight and minimize direct solar loading, which floated above a series of atriums penetrating the mixed use podium. At the ground floor the podium the fluid circulation of the large retail experience was organized around these atriums which also served as focal points for vertical circulation and the entry points for the office floors above.
